This guide contains easy money making methods in Old School Runescape. The easiest and quickest way to get OSRS Gold is by buying it at an online store, but if you want to farm yourself, here are your opportunities:

Opening Eclectic Impling Jars

If you are into doing clue scrolls, opening eclectic jars can be a great way to make money on Old School Runescape. You can get medium clue scrolls from eclectic jars at a rate of 1/25. There are no requirements for buying and opening eclectic jars but you will need to have some stats and items if you want to do this method efficiently.

  • You will need to have all the requirements to complete every medium clue step.

  • 42 Construction - to be able to build medium stash units. (A max POH can be useful for teleports)

  • 96 Magic

  • A good amount of starting cash. The main part of this money maker is getting ranger boots, since you won’t be making a profit until you get them you will need to continue doing this for a long time.

  • Spade

  • Light source

  • Graceful outfit

  • Stamina potions

  • Teleportation items

  • Medium stash units built and filled

  • Fairytale 2 Cure a Queen - To use fairy rings

  • Tree Gnome Village - For spirit trees

  • Ardougne easy diary - For the Ardougne cloak

  • Kandarin easy diary -  for the Kandarin headgear

GP/H: 2,1M

Making Snapdragon Potions

Making snapdragon potion (unf) is a great and easy way to make money. This potion is required to craft a super restore potion and since making an unfinished potion doesn’t give any experience, crafting unfinished potions becomes a decent way to make money. There are only 3 requirements for this method:

  • 63 Herblore

  • Decent amount of starting cash (30M+ is recommended)

  • Druidic Ritual

GP/H: 1.4M

Making Toy Cats

This is another niche way of making money. You can create toy cats in your player owned house by using a crafting table 4. This method can be click intensive as you will need to be clicking on the crafting table every time you finish crafting a toy. Another thing to take note of is that the market for clockwork cats is not very large, so it may take a while for you to sell these cats. For this method you will be using your butler to take the crafted cats into your bank and while he is doing that you will go out of your house and un-note your planks and clockworks using Phials. Requirements:

  • 85 Crafting

  • 50 Construction - for the table and demon butler

  • POH in Rimmington with a crafting table 4

  • Some coins for butler and Phial

  • Clockwork

  • Plank

GP/H: 1.3M

Making Ranarr Potions

Just like snapdragon potions, this is another great unfinished potion to create since it’s used for crafting prayer potions. This is recommended for people that don’t have high herblore level. Requirements:

  • 30 Herblore

  • Decent amount of starting cash (32M+ recommended)

  • Druidic Ritual

GP/H: 1M

Crushing Bird Nests

Crushing bird nests is another great method that doesn't require you to have any stats. You just need to buy a bunch of empty bird nests from the grand exchange and start crushing them. You can auto-crush these nests and that will result in your character crushing 1 every 3 ticks or you can manually click to crush multiple at a time making you more profit. Requirements:

  • Decent amount of starting cash (25M+ Recommended)

  • Pestle and mortar

  • Bird nests

GP/H: 400k - 1M (Depending on if you are doing it manually or automatic)
